Tiger Woods is still well alive in the hunt for his fourth Masters green jacket at Augusta National in Georgia.

After finishing the third round with a score of 70, Woods maintains a total score of 208 points, good for a third place tie with Korean native K.J. Choi. They both trail a first place lead by only four points behind golf star Phil Mickelson (205 points) and Lee Westwood (204).

Tiger was able to stay high on the scoreboard after nailing three straight birdies which attracted a roar of cheers from the crowd.

“I think that’s what everybody wants to see,” said Westwood, currently the points leader heading to the final round of play. “Everybody has missed Tiger on the golf course the last five or six months, and he’s up there. Phil is up there. You’ve got 4, 3 and 1 in the world. It’s a good leaderboard, I think.”

Woods will see his next action in the final round today at 2:30 p.m.
