SENATORS GRAHAM, SCHUMER, AYOTTE, CARDIN TO URGE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION: ANY CEASE FIRE IN GAZA MUST NOT LEAVE ISRAEL VULNERABLE TO ROCKETS AND TUNNEL ATTACKS

Senators to introduce Senate resolution opposing any efforts to force a cease fire that does not allow for Israel to protect its citizens from threats posed by Hamas rockets and tunnels

 

Today, U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Charles E. Schumer (D-NY), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and Ben Cardin (D-MD) will hold a press conference at 2:00pm in the Senate Radio-TV Gallery to announce a new Senate resolution urging the Obama administration to ensure that any cease fire does not leave Israel vulnerable to attacks from rockets or via tunnels. The Senators will also reiterate their support for Israel’s right to defend its citizens.
