Tomorrow the Maryland Senate will hold a hearing on the Healthy Working Families Act, which would help more than 700,000 mostly low income working Maryland residents earn paid sick days. We’ll talk to the bill’s sponsor in the Senate, Sen. Catherine Pugh and others about this important piece of legislation. Plus, there has been a spike in homicides in Northeast Baltimore, and this past weekend was particularly violent. We’ll discuss crime with Fox 45 investigative producer Stephen Janis. It’s all coming up this evening on AFRO’s First Edition with Sean Yoes.
