A week before Sandra Bland was found dead in a Texas jail cell, a young Native American woman named Sarah Lee Circle Bear died in a jail cell in South Dakota. But, it’s a story very few know about. We’ll examine the severe lack of media attention given to the plight of Native Americans. Plus, earlier today Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced the state will close the notorious Baltimore City Detention Center. We’ll take a look back at the sordid history of BCDC.
