Two members of the “UDH” drug organization have been sentenced to 10 years in prison each for their roles in distributing crack cocaine and heroin in Baltimore’s Cherry Hill neighborhood.
Tony Johnson, also known as “Tony Mack,” 27, and Russell Lumpkins, 25, were sentenced to 10 years with five years of supervised release for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute crack and heroin, United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein announced Oct. 31. A third member of the UDH group, Delano Johnson, 37, pleaded guilty to the same charges on Oct. 30; his sentencing is set for Feb. 6.
According to their plea agreements, the three men were longtime drug dealers in Cherry Hill as part of the “UDH” organization, which stands for “Up da Hill,” Rosenstein said in a release announcing the sentences. The crime group was also responsible for various robberies, homicides, and non-fatal shootings in that area, he added. UDH has engaged in feuds with members of two other criminal organizations, “Coppin Court” and “Little Spelman”.
As members of UDH, Rosenstein said each of the trio distributed more than 280 grams of crack, while Lumpkins and Delano Johnson also dealt more than a kilogram of heroin.
