The Ubiquitous Beauty, Hair and Health Expo is scheduled to be held on Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. and Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Pl NW. Yolanda Adams is scheduled to sing at the expo on Aug. 28. The event will consist of workshops, seminars on health and beauty for Black women, information on healthy hair options, live performances, panels, contests, give aways and more. Tickets cost $15 when purchased in advance at ubiquitousexpo.com, and $20 at the door.
