Dear Friends,Early voting in Maryland has begun and with just 11 days to go, we’re about to make history. Not only are we going to elect HILLARY CLINTON the first woman President of the United States – the most qualified candidate for president – we’re also going to send a message loud and clear that hate-filled politics and divisive rhetoric are not in keeping with American values. Two hundred million Americans are now registered to vote – 200 MILLION – more than in any other election in the history of our nation. Record numbers have already cast their ballots to say they want a country where we stand together and lift each other up … a country that can tackle the big challenges we face when we stand STRONGER TOGETHER. A country where everyone has a voice in creating America’s future. ![]()
Your voice counts. Your participation counts. Your vote counts. I’ve been out on the campaign trail throughout Maryland and around our nation, working on behalf of terrific Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. I’ve traveled to Florida twice on behalf of Hillary Clinton and, this week, I was in Pennsylvania campaigning with our Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine. I have been on the campaign trail across Maryland for our Senate candidate Chris Van Hollen. And in addition to supporting our Congressional team, in Baltimore City I campaigned with our next mayor, Catherine Pugh, and canvassed neighborhoods with Zeke Cohen, Democratic candidate for City Council in the First District.
We all need to work hard for Hillary and ensure that she has a strong Democratic Senate, Democratic House of Representatives and strong Democrats throughout Maryland to back her up. We’re going to make history this election, but we also need to make sure we can get things done once all the votes have been counted. ![]()
