The Café Mocha radio show affectionately is scheduled to host its second annual Salute Her: Beauty of Diversity Awards presented by Toyota Green Initiative. The awards luncheon will celebrate a diverse array of women who are making a difference in their respective communities. Nine women will be honored at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, on Aug. 25. Built on the concept of women helping other women grow through shared experiences, the Awards luncheon will host the ORS Hair Care #NoStereotypes panel and support local domestic violence shelters via the Mocha Cares Foundation.
