Renowned artist launches new album with virtual concert, raises funds for the hungry

MIAMI, FLORIDA – Fantasy Theatre Factory (FTF) will premier “Messages … Songs for the Soul–The Concert,” presenting renowned jazz vocalist Brenda Alford, on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 8 p.m., as part of its MUSIC@SRT series.

The “stage-to-screen experience” will feature an exquisitely produced video recording of Ms. Alford and her quartet in concert, performing the compositions from her newest album, “Messages … Songs for the Soul,” at the Sandrell Rivers Theater, 6103 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33127. This special evening’s “virtual concert” will include an in-person pre-show greeting and introduction by Ms. Alford, as well as a post-show question and answer conversation with her.

Tickets to attend the show in person will cost $40, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Homestead Soup Kitchen. All guests who pay to attend in person will receive a FREE autographed copy of Ms. Alford’s new CD, “Messages … Songs for the Soul.” Tickets can be purchased online at


On the following Sunday, April 25, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., on the FTF Facebook page, Ms. Alford will be featured in an interview with Jazz vocalist extraordinaire, Wendy Pedersen, co-host of the Miami Jazz Cooperative’s weekly show, “Jazz and Conversations”. The interview will be immediately followed by the online debut of “Messages … Songs for the Soul – The Concert,” tickets for which will be available for purchase and viewing through Mother’s Day on May 9!

Tickets to view the online concert will cost $20, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, Feeding America. With the ticket purchase, guests will receive a link to view the concert on YouTube.
