WASHINGTON (AP)—Police have arrested three women for fighting after an awards ceremony at City Hall where D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty recognized reformed youth offenders.

Police arrested 18-year-old Grace Ebiasah, 20-year-old Anna Ebiasah and 19-year-old Deanna Morris, all of Southeast D.C., for fighting in a public place. They are accused of fighting after Fenty presented awards at the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services event Thursday.

Fenty spokeswoman Mafara Hobson says the mayor was concerned about the safety of the young people attending. No one was seriously injured.
