The Montgomery Art Association is scheduled to hold the 50th Annual Kensington Labor Day Parade and Festival on Sept. 4. The Parade kicks-off at 10 a.m. (Festival 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and will travel down Connecticut Avenue from St. Paul Park toward the Town Hall, 3710 Mitchell Street. The parade will feature local marching bands from area schools; equestrian show groups; dance groups; floats and ambassadors from local churches, schools, non-profits, and businesses; and local, state, and federally elected officials.
