Baltimore, MD — The Baltimore Teacher Network is proud to announce an upcoming Education Townhall with Senator Angela Alsobrooks scheduled for Thursday, May 29 at Baltimore City Community College’s Fine Arts Theatre. 

This critical event will convene educators, students, parents and policymakers for a candid discussion on the state and future of education in Maryland and the United States. A special focus will be placed on how recent federal actions under the Trump administration have impacted local and national education systems. 

The evening will begin with a Meet and Greet Reception with the senator from 5:30-6:15 p.m., featuring an opportunity to engage with the attending U.S. senator, followed by a panel  discussion and audience Q&A. 

Baltimore Teacher Network has extended a special invitation to local and state politicians, college and university presidents, highly qualified educators, and the Baltimore City Public Schools’ CEO to participate on the panel.
