Abraham Bolden, the nation’s first African American Secret Service agent to be on a White House detail, wrote a book, “The Echo of Dealey Plaza” about the challenges he faced during his career, including being falsely charged and imprisoned when he tried to report incompetencies and biases within the Service that may have contributed to President Kennedy’s assassination.
