On Aug. 1 (Rain Date: Aug. 8) from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the District Heights Municipal Center – Ball Field, 2000 Marbury Drive is scheduled to host a National Night Out event. The event is scheduled to have food, games, music, a fun zone, raffles, exhibits and giveaways, including school backpacks. Admission is free. For more information, contact 301-336-1400.
