Jordan R. Montique, a speech-language pathologist, is speaking up for the Black and Brown students with disabilities who could be negatively impacted by the dismantling of the U.S. Department of Education. Special education students across the country could experience disruptions to services and support after mass layoffs in the U.S. Department of Education, raising concerns about access and equity for Black and Brown students with disabilities.
