The Fort Washington Medical Center will be holding its first Children’s Health Expo themed “Fitness is a Family Affair.” The event will be on Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex, 7007 Bock Road. The expo is in partnership with the Prince George’s County District 8 Health Fair. The expo will focus on increasing health awareness and motivating participants through fitness activities, health screenings, demonstrations and tips for self-care. The expo will also have stations for children where they can learn about health topics through games and other activities. The fair and expo are free.
