Comptroller to Visit Blue Ribbon School in Baltimore Co.
St. Joseph School, Fullerton earned national award this year

WHAT: Comptroller Franchot will tour St. Joseph School, Fullerton on Friday. The school was recently named to the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, which recognizes outstanding public and nonpublic schools, and celebrates some of the most skilled and effective educators in the country.
St. Joseph School was founded in 1877 by the Sisters of St. Francis, whose mission and vision of St. Francis of Assisi continues to be embodied by its dedicated faculty. St. Joseph School applied to be recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School because of their belief in academic excellence and efforts to close achievement gaps.
