Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford Views Hoverbike at Farnborough Airshow

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford today toured the exhibit floor at the Farnborough Airshow in Hampshire England, where he surveyed a full-scale model of the Hoverbike. Considered by some as the next generation of drone technology, the Hoverbike is being developed for the U.S. Department of Defense by SURVICE Engineering Co., a Belcamp, Maryland-based defense firm, and United Kingdom-based Malloy Aeronautics, an aeronautical engineering firm, in cooperation with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) and the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC).

Attached are pictures from the Farnborough Airshow.
