The Panthers, now 0-6, will prepare for their bout against Northwestern. The Wildcats will enter the Prince George’s County 4A bout with a 2-4 record. In their last matchup on Oct. 8, Northwestern defeated Bladensburg 26-22, in an in-league bout.

Player of the Week:

The Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School Pumas offense remains to be an unstoppable force with player of the week, John Oliver. Oliver is a senior running back and corner back for the Pumas. Oliver has an astounding 517 yards accrued over the season and only looks to gain more. He is also one of the top scorers for the Pumas with 44 points from seven touchdowns. To see more from Oliver, head out to watch him and the Pumas take on Eleanor Roosevelt on Oct. 14.

The Games to Come:

The Pumas will host the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders; the top two teams in the county’s 4A region. The Pumas and the Raiders have yet to face off this season and both teams remain undefeated in their region.
