The Memorial Foundation,, the foundation responsible for building the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) have again united to present an inspiring and powerful summer film series at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. This summer will mark the fourth anniversary for the film series, and both organizations look forward to celebrating with this free and public series which will include the Academy Award nominated movies Fences, Moana and Hidden Figures. On June 22, Fences will play at 8 p.m. at the Stone of Hope, 1964 Independence Ave SW,  seating begins at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and food. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Admission is free; the first 100 people will receive a special gift.
