Launched in 2004, the Johns Hopkins CareS Mobile Safety center was built to keep to increase awareness about child injury, the leading cause of death for children nationwide. The mobile safety vehicle is complete with interactive exhibits and low cost safety products. The Safety Center Mobile travels to Baltimore neighborhoods to teach parents and care givers about the injury risks children face at home.
