Another member of the 1990s rap group “The Outlawz” has died unexpectedly.  Bruce Edward Washington, known to the rap world as Hussein Fatal, died July 10 in a car accident in Georgia.

At the time of his death, the 42-year-old rapper was in the passenger seat of a black Dodge Challenger, which was driving along Interstate 85 in Atlanta when it ran off the road at a high speed.  The car then swerved and hit a hill, causing the vehicle to fly into the air and land upside down at the bottom of a bridge, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Fatal was ejected from the car at impact and was killed immediately.

The driver, Zanetta L. Yearby, 31, was arrested at the scene and charged with DUI, reckless driving, and first-degree vehicular homicide among other charges, and is still in custody, according to TMZ.

The Outlawz posted on their group Twitter page a picture of Fatal with Tupac Shakur, who formed the group, with the caption, “Rest in Paradise our brother Hussein Fatal he passed away in a car accident.  Pray for his family & kids at this time!”

After Fatal’s death, the group also created a GoFundMe page to raise money for his funeral expenses. The page raised over $5,000 in eight hours.

Following Shakur’s death, the group continued to make music, including a 2011 album titled Perfect Timing on 1Nation Entertainment.
