Two Baltimore men have been arrested and charged with the stabbing death during a fight at a Landover gas station Nov. 3 of a 27-year-old father of five children, Prince George’s County police said.

The suspects are identified as 21-year-old Rayshad Raderrick Stuart and 23-year-old Antjuan Jamala Stuart, both of the 2200 block of Brookfield Avenue in Baltimore. The brothers were arrested at their home Nov. 5 with the assistance of the Baltimore City Police Department. Both admitted their involvement.

The brothers are both charged with first and second-degree murder.

According to police, David Janard Jenkins of Dunbar Avenue in Landover, was found suffering from stab wounds in the 300 block of Meadow Way in Landover.

According to the police, Jenkins and a second male had been involved in an altercation with a group of people at a gas station near Brightseat Road and Central Avenue in Capitol Heights.

During the altercation, the two victims were stabbed, police said. The two victims then got into a car and were driven to Meadow Way where police and emergency medical assistance were summoned. Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was treated for injuries that police said were not considered life threatening.

Jenkins is the father of five children.

Jenkins mother, Jane Jones, told News4 “It broke my heart because that’s my only son. I do not wish that upon anybody. I find myself … just breaking down in tears.”
