The Y of Central Maryland recently announced the promotions of five staff members in various roles, including Michelle Becote-Jackson, who has been named senior vice president of Y Journeys for Children & Youth.

Becote-Jackson will be responsible for the delivery of quality operations for all Y Journeys for Children & Youth programs including before and after school enrichment, camps and preschool. Before working with the Y of Central Maryland, the Goucher College and Johns Hopkins University alumna served as regional director for Education Station (previously Sylvan Learning Systems Company), where she oversaw the delivery of after-school tutorial services to students in the Mid-Atlantic region and United States Virgin Islands.

In addition, Ryan Trexler was named vice president of Quality Assurance and Risk Management; Mario Trescone is now vice president of Market and Operations Analysis; Christine Ader-Soto was promoted to senior vice president of Family & Youth Asset Development and Troy S. Weaver has been named senior vice president of Y Family Centers and Member Experience.
