The youngest member of the Jackson 5 was hospitalized on June 15 with chest pains.
Randy Jackson, 48, was checked into a Southern California hospital on Tuesday after the pains began around noon.
Am anonymous source close to his family said they are awaiting the test results. According to BlackAmericaWeb.com, the same source told the Associated Press that doctors suspect Jackson suffered a mild heart attack. TMZ reports that he was rushed to the hospital because he previously suffered a heart attack.
The previous day, Jackson attended a criminal court hearing for Dr. Conrad Murray, who is facing involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of his brother, music legend Michael Jackson.
Jackson did not appear to be in poor health during a recent appearance on CNN. While a guest on “Newsroom,” he said that Murray should be charged with first-degree murder from the June 25 death of his pop star brother.
“At times, I’m sad & broken,” he wrote on his Twitter page according to BlackAmericaWeb.com. “But ur supprt helps 2 encourage me and fuel my motivation 2 continue this fight 4 truth&justice.”
In a series of tweets over the past weeks, Jackson said he stopped an unapproved tribute show to Michael Jackson in Rome that was scheduled on the anniversary of his brother’s passing.
