After garnering nationwide media attention for his campaign against Facebook because of its perceived adverse affects on his congregants’ marriages, Neptune Township, N.J., pastor Cedric Miller is speaking out about a three-way sexual affair with his wife and a male church assistant.
The Asbury Park Press first reported Miller’s unusual charge to church leaders: Quit Facebook or leave the church. According to the minister, Facebook promotes sexual indiscretions and leads to marriage problems. But the news service reported Miller, 48, testified in 2003 that he’d participated in a threesome with a male church assistant and his wife 10 years ago.
During a sermon on Nov. 21, Miller said he would step down as senior minister if church leaders believed he was unable to serve.
